Every child has a fundamental right to live free of violence, humiliation and exploitation. This program provides an atmosphere free of violence and assures children are treated with respect.
Therapy for children, tutoring, sporting events, arts and crafts, potty training, file trips and parental development.
The Guardian Sexual Assault Center is a program established to help eliminate or reduce the incidence of rape and sexual assault through prevention and education. As well as providing the coordination of services to victims of rape and sexual assault and to their families and friends. All services are offered free of charge.
The Guardian Collection Thrift Store offers gently used items for sale to the Natchez community as a source of income for Natchez domestic violence and sexual assault programs.
The Rapid Re-Housing Domestic Violence Program provides a quick response to individuals and families who are displaced and homeless as a result of domestic violence. This program is a safe haven and provides hope to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. It is unique in that it responds to the need for this
vulnerable population to move quickly to safe housing of their choice and not be subjected to the ongoing abuse of a perpetrator to control their lives.
The Vardaman Family Life Center is located in Vardaman, MS, a small town in NE Mississippi. The mission of the Vardaman Family Life Center is to be a welcoming presence – showing dignity for all people, regardless of race, religion or political affiliation and to provide support to vulnerable populations. The primary service area of the Center is Calhoun County and neighboring communities. Services are provided in both Spanish and English to ensure inclusion of the immigrant population in the area.
Embracing the belief that it is more important to affirm people’s potential than to focus on their limitations, our services focus on strengthening and empowering individuals and families with resources and support that will help them overcome barriers they face in daily life.
